I have become a huge concealer junkie lately.. I can't seem to get enough! These are a few of my all-time favorites:
Sonia Kashuk concealer palette (Hidden Agenda 07) -
I know, I know.. You've heard all about this one. But it really is nice. There is a light shade and a darker one next to it at the top for mixing to match your shade. Below is a neutralizer shade for concealing redness, and next to that a setting powder. These are very creamy and go on smoothly, easily blended. This is a slightly more expensive concealer drugstore wise - at $10.49, but it has lasted me months using it almost daily, and I haven't hit pan yet. There is only one other shade option and it appeared only a bit darker than this one, so unfortunately this wouldn't be an option for anyone looking for a much darker shade.
From left to right: The setting powder is the lighter color at the bottom. The lightest shade, darkest shade, then the neutralizing shade.
You can get Sonia Kashuk products at Target or online.
*I just looked this up for the pricing and the packaging on the website is different.. I have no clue if they changed it recently (I went to Target a few weeks ago and it was the same packaging as I have) but on both Target & SK's it's in what looks to be black packaging. So just a heads up if you go and can't find the white packaged one.
L'Oréal True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer..... These long names! (Fair/light, W1-2-3) -
( It starts with a point to it! :) )
I like this a lot. It's really creamy, great coverage and perfect for travel or just to keep in your purse... It's a twist up so no sharpening needed! I rarely use this as a "crayon".. I almost always apply it to my fingers first, then to my face. For hygiene reasons and also so it warms up a little and applies better. For really good coverage on bad skin days, I combine this with the Sonia Kashuk palette. I'll rub some on my finger, then get some of the lighter shade in the palette on my finger as well and apply to my face. It gives double the coverage and helps to match my color a little better.
It comes in 6 shades: two ranges in fair/light, two in light/medium, and two in medium/deep... $8.99 at drugstores, $7.99 at Target, and $7.97 at Walmart.
Covergirl & Olay Concealer Balm (310 fair) -
I picked this up a few weeks ago after hearing Emily from Beauty Broadcast mention it.. And it has quickly become one of my favorites... Not for concealer though, but for brightening. I find that if I put this directly under my eyes for dark circles, it settles into the fine lines... (It does cover the dark circles though).. It has a slight pinky tone to it so I love to use this as a brightener (the classic upside down triangle).. It's the old school concealer stick - but so much better. It is SO creamy and smooth and blends perfectly.
There are 6 Shades from fair to medium/deep. $9.99 at drugstores, $7.99 Target... Walmart is always a cent or two cheaper so I'm not even going to mention it throughout this. LOL... Assume you can always get it slightly cheaper at Walmart :)
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer (Radiant) -
This is another product that has been raved about on youtube and beauty blogs. It's a twist up liquid with one of those brush tips.. Covers dark circles well and has a slightly pink tone for brightening. My only complaint is there isn't much product and with the twist up tubes, almost always too much comes out.. But it is a great product.
6 Shades. $7.99 at drugstores, $6.44 at Target.
Rimmel London Match Perfection Skin Tone Adapting Concealer (230 Fair/light) -
This claims to be a 2-in-1 concealer & highlighter and I have to agree. It does a good job of brightening and some days I include this with whatever other product I use to brighten under my eyes.. (I like to combine concealers and layer them).. It is in a squeeze tube and is a liquid concealer. It lasts a long time and this is the second tube I've purchased.
There are 5 Shades from fair to medium.. $5.99 at drugstores.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer (fair) -
I love this... I wish I didn't because it is SO expensive but... It's perfect. I love the packaging, it's a twist up tube.. It is so creamy and smooth, so blendable... I love to use this as both a concealer and brightener. It's great as a concealer because it's a very thick consistency so it won't settle into fine lines and the coverage is great. I also love to do the upside down triangle for a beautiful brightening effect as well. I can't say enough good about this and I really recommend if you are looking to treat yourself with a higher end product...
*Out of all my other concealers, the one I own that is closest to this would be the Covergirl & Olay concealer balm... I get a pretty similar effect and that one is just as creamy, just not as thick in consistency.
There are 5 shades from fair to deep. $22 at Ulta & Sephora.
