I have been obsessed with Rimmel lipsticks lately. They are so creamy and pigmented, the lasting power is excellent and the colors are all gorgeous.
So far, I own 6 shades:
Vintage Pink (380) is in the Moisture Renew collection. Super moisturizing, pigmented and creamy.... This should be named Vintage Purple. It's definitely not pink, I do get the vintage vibe though, but absolutely purple-ish. Not too great for us pale skinned folks but it is a gorgeous color. I like to layer this with other colors so it looks better with my skin tone.
Pink Blush (006) is from the Lasting Finish collection - Really smooth and creamy, good pigmentation.. A baby pink with a shine to it, no shimmer but a sort of glossy finish. This is a great every day shade, one of those 'throw it in your purse and go' lipsticks.
Airy Fairy (070) - another Lasting Finish shade, this one has been talked about for years in the beauty community. It's hard to describe, definitely a nude but it has brown and pink undertones. A very unique shade, I own nothing else like it. It has that same glossy shine as Pink Blush, and there is a slight gold shimmer.
The next three are from the Lasting Finish Matte by Kate Moss collection:
All of these are creamy, smooth and very pigmented.
Shade 101 - My favorite every day lipstick as of late. A beautiful matte light pink. I LOVE wearing this with NYX's butter gloss in Merengue over top.
Shade 103 - This is like a deeper version of 101, a bit of a dusty rose shade.. Really pretty.
Shade 111 (Kiss Of Life) - A bright matte red. It's almost a mix between a cherry & brick red. Gorgeous!
From left to right: Vintage Pink (deeper in person), Pink Blush, Airy Fairy, 101, 103 (slightly deeper in person), 111 Kiss Of Life (also slightly deeper in person)
These are available at the drugstores for: Moisture Renew - $6.99, Lasting Finish - $5.19, Lasting Finish Matte By Kate Moss -$4.99 (Prices may vary by drugstore)
