L'Oréal Color Riche Lipstick Review & Swatches:

Hey lovelies!  How was your weekend?

A few days ago I had some great coupons at CVS so I grabbed a few things I'd been eyeing (a few more reviews coming soon!) and the new pink shades from L'Oréal have been calling my name! The only other lipstick from L'Oréal I own is Fairest Nude and I really love it so I wanted to try a few more.

I got two shades from the new pink collection: Wisteria Rose and I Pink You're Cute.

loreal packaging

Same packaging as the others, I've always liked the look of these.. Classy and Simple.

Left - I Pink You're Cute & Right - Wisteria Rose

Unfortunately, as with the other Color Riche lipsticks - these smell terrible in the tube. But thankfully, you don't smell it at all once it's on.

Right - Wisteria Rose, Left - I Pink You're Cute

These feel very lightweight on the lips and the pigmentation is nice. They are definitely buildable, the swatches above are only a few swipes each but both can be worn very lightly if you don't want a big punch of color. I love the shades and I think I'm going to pick up more!

Cutest name ever! :-D

Sorry for the terrible lip swatch, I slapped in on quickly to get a picture while I was getting ready to head out for the day. It's a bit lighter in person! A barbie pink, really pretty but may not look good on every skin tone.. I think I'm a bit too pale for it so it'll be one I layer with other lipstick shades or under a gloss.

I love this color. It's gorgeous! It looks deeper in the tube but once it's applied, it's very bright and vibrant, it builds up really well.

In this picture I have Wisteria Rose on first, with I Pink You're Cute layered over it to lighten the color up a bit.

I didn't have a problem with these feathering or migrating outside the line; I didn't wear a lip liner underneath. The longevity of these lipsticks aren't amazing, they didn't hold up well through a meal for me but I'm not one that minds reapplying lipstick throughout the day.. Especially ones that are so lightweight! I actually enjoy applying these, they are smooth and creamy and so lightweight - it feels like you have nothing on. If you own any of the older Color Riche shades, the formula is the same so you'll know what to expect... I love them! :)

Price ranging from $5.99 at Target & Walmart to $9.49 at the drugstores (Ulta is a bit cheaper than CVS, Rite Aid & Walgreens)
