Hi.

Welcome to my blog. Here you will find product reviews and makeup looks! Hope you have a nice stay!

Lorac Pro Palette:

Hello beauties! How are you?

Today I wanted to review the Lorac Pro Palette. It's available at Ulta, Sephora, & Lorac's website.. You can also find it on Amazon and Ebay but I'm always hesitant to recommend purchasing palettes from those sites because there have been fakes sold in the past. Buyer beware!

It is $42 - with 16 eyeshadow shades, 8 matte and 8 shimmer along with a mini Behind The Scenes eyeshadow primer.

I seriously love this palette. Swatching all of these shades reminded me again just how amazing it is. Every shade is pigmented, the colors are gorgeous and how perfect is 8 matte and 8 shimmery shades!? Not counting the eye primer, you are getting each shade for under $3 a piece! I know $42 seems like a lot of money, but it's a fantastic deal and the quality is top notch.

Each shade is super pigmented and so soft, smooth and creamy! The matte shades are great, not too chalky and very pigmented. No complaints.. But in my opinion, the shimmer shades are where this palette really stands out. They are just perfect.

Wait until you see these swatches.... :)

I don't love the packaging, it looks nice at first but gets dirty very quickly.

The top 8 shades are matte and the bottom 8 are shimmer.

(The white shade isn't totally matte, but it's great for a highlight & the inner corner)

primer

The eye primer is okay.. Not my favorite but hey, it works.

Sorry mines a bit of a mess, I've had it for quite a while now!  :)

I'll show each shade on its own, going in order from the mattes down to the shimmers.

This is the only "matte" shade that isn't totally matte, you can see here in the pan more than the swatches below. It has a slight shimmer to it, but barely, and once it's on you really can't tell.

Light Pink is a bit more pink in person, it translates slightly more white in these photos.

The swatches don't do this one justice, it's a bit deeper and much prettier in person.

All of these shades are essential and can be used for literally any look you could want. They are amazing on their own or mixed with other palettes as well.

I forget how insanely gorgeous this color is. In the pan, it doesn't look too exciting but swatched, it really shines.

Champagne is the only shade in the palette I'm not too thrilled about. It has chunkier sparkles and the pigmentation is good, but not as great as the others.

Pewter is one of my favorite shades in this palette, the swatches don't do it justice. It's such a unique color and I LOVE this on the lid, then smoked out with the dark matte shades for a sexy nighttime look.

Another favorite... Just beautiful! And these are literally with just one swatch of color, that's how pigmented they are!

Aren't all the shades stunning? It's such a versatile palette. I think this one is probably even better of a bargain than the Naked Palettes just because you can do SO much with it. (Not to mention it's an even better deal!)

swatches

I have absolutely no complaints about this palette. I wish more companies would include so many matte shades along with the shimmers!
