I've mentioned in previous posts how much I love Rimmel's nude eyeliner for my waterline... Well, I've become pretty obsessed with these liners and seem to pick a new one up every time I go to the drugstore.
There are 10 shades total and I own 6 now... The other shades aren't too exciting to me so I'm not sure I'll get any more, but I LOVE the ones I have now.
Out of any liners in the drugstore, these are my absolute favorites. As with other kohl eyeliners, these are very creamy and easy to apply. They smudge nicely but have just enough stick so they aren't running all over the place.
Black is very dark, no shimmers (there is a glittery black shade available). I love this for my waterline! It stays for a good few hours, especially when you set it with an eyeshadow.
The Brown shade has a bit of gold sparkle to it so I wouldn't suggest this one for the waterline, you definitely want to avoid any glitter in that area. But I think a brown liner is essential when you want something less dramatic than black, but still have it be dark enough to make an impact.
Taupe is a gorgeous color, another great option when you don't want anything too dramatic. This would be a great toned-down color for school or work. It has no shimmer or sparkle.
Oh, the eyeliner that started it all... This is perfect for the bottom waterline. For every day makeup, school/work. It's a great alternative to a stark white, it makes you look more awake and it lasts for hours!
I've quickly grown to love this shade. I don't wear blues often but I find that deeper ones are easier for me to wear and I love this smoked out on my lower lash-line for a pop of color. I'll throw some mascara on, put the black liner on my upper waterline and then this on my bottom lash-line and be good to go. It's gorgeous!
Purple was the hardest shade for me to find, I finally grabbed it today at K-Mart.. I'm a sucker for purples because it brings out the green in my eyes and this one is a beautiful deep purple. Another one that's amazing for a pop of color, especially on the lower lash-line. It's one of those looks that's super easy and quick to do and can add some fun to your makeup without having to do much with eyeshadows.
These cost around $4.49 at the drugstore and wherever Rimmel London products are sold. I highly recommend them! :)
