"Be soft. Do not let the word make you hard. Do not let the pain make you hate. Do not let the bitterness steal your sweetness. Take pride that even though the rest of the world may disagree, you still believe it to be a beautiful place."
- Kurt Vonnegut
Hey friends! I can't believe this month is coming to and end already!.. I say that every month, don't I? :)
I have a couple favorites this month, not too much because I'm testing out a bunch of things and haven't really built opinions on them yet but here are my current obsessions!
NYC's Smooth Skin Loose face powder in Translucent (around $3): I was on the search for a new loose powder for setting my under-eye concealer. I was previously using Elf's HD powder but that one can cause flashback in pictures if you use too much so I was on the search for another cheap powder that wouldn't and I finally found one! This was just a random purchase, I hadn't heard anything about this powder but I'm so glad I tried it.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Unapologetic ($6.49-$8.99): I could probably say this product in general is my favorite because I'm loving the three shades I own (and want more!) but the shade Unapologetic is one that I wear the most.
Beauty Blender ($19.95): I got this in my Sephora haul last month and really was not expecting much... I figured it'd be one of those over-rated sponsored products that are raved about on YouTube... I am in love! I have absolutely no idea how a sponge could give you such a fabulous finish but... Well, needless to say I'll be doing a review on this soon :)
NYX's Butt Naked Turn the other Cheek Palette ($25): Check out the review I did on this! I am in love and that's all I'll say! There is a full review and swatches so click the link above to learn more!
Loreal Nail Polish in 'Too Dimensional?' ($4.97-$5.99): This could very well be the prettiest nail polish I've ever seen!!!!
Pictures don't do it justice. You need this shade! This is from the new line Loreal has recently released and there are a ton of super sparkly shades. I grabbed one other but this is the one I had been on the hunt for so I had to try it first. I think I'm going to pick up every shade from this line!
Smashbox's Full Exposure Mascara ($20 for full size): This was a free sample I received from my Sephora haul and I was blown away at how much I loved this mascara.
The wand is an old school one and it doesn't look like anything special but man, does this mascara give you VOLUME! Not a whole ton of length, but my lashes are naturally pretty long so it doesn't bother me much. If you have shorter lashes, you can layer this with a lengthening mascara and get gorgeous lashes; it layers really well with others! It's not too wet of a formula, but not too dry either. I absolutely love this and I will definitely get the full size.
Ambi Escents Wax Melts in the fragrance Teakwood Noir ($2.99): I absolutely love wax warmers. I have one on in my room pretty much constantly. They last forever and some brands have scents that will literally last you for months! This scent is one of those delicious sexy man cologne smells... Every time someone comes in my room they comment that it smells like a good looking man LOL I love those musky cologne scents so this is a big favorite of mine. I've been literally burning one square for over a month, and the scent is still strong. I'm super impressed with this brand! You can get these at Bed Bath & Beyond.
So those are my favorites for the month of November! Not a lot but I absolutely adore all of these products! What were your favorites? Leave them in the comment section!
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates it! I hope you have a fantastic day tomorrow and eat tons of delicious food!!! :)
