Mac's Pro Conceal And Correct Palette in Light - Review & Swatches:

"True strength is not always shown through victory. Stand up, try again and display strength of heart."

- Rickson Gracie

Hey loves, once again I have to apologize for my inconsistent posts.. I had planned a bunch for the week but unfortunately on Saturday one of our dogs, Hunter, passed away. He was 12, but it was totally unexpected and to be honest I'm still in shock.. We've had him since he was a puppy. It's been a tough week.. But I don't want to neglect this in any way, so I apologize for the past week as well as if the next isn't too consistent. I'll try my best though. Here's a few pictures of him, in case anyone wanted to see him <3

Okay, on to the post before I start crying lol

More of my Mac haul, I picked up Mac's Pro Conceal and Correct Palette in the shade light.. I've been eyeing this palette for quite a while now so I was excited to try it out:

C1I love the packaging, small and sleek.

C2Here is the back, it has the name of each shade.

C3You get 6 shades - four Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealers - NC15, W10, NC20 and NW20 - and two Studio Finish Corrector shades in Pale Yellow and Pale Pink.

S1You can mix and match these shades to get a perfect match to your skin tone, or use each for different problem areas. The pale yellow and pale pink are corrective shades, the yellow is amazing for brightening and the pink is great for dark blue-ish undereye circles.

S2These are extremely pigmented and creamy. A little bit goes a long way and the lasting power is absolutely fantastic. The closest I can compare these to are Sonia Kashuk's Concealer palette, except these are even creamier and they last so much longer! This has replaced that palette as my favorite now, easily. I don't even have to touch up my concealer throughout the day - amazing.

I love this palette for covering any blemishes, dark spots and redness but I've found myself using it everyday under my eyes as well. I haven't had trouble with it creasing but I don't have too many fine lines yet; this is a thicker consistency so if you do have fine lines, I'd be wary and always set the concealer with a finely-milled powder!

I highly recommend this palette if you love concealers with great coverage and don't mind a slightly thicker consistency; especially for camouflaging blemishes, scarring, even for scultping our your brows! These concealers last forever, totally worth the price.

Mac's Pro Conceal & Correct Palette comes in 4 ranges - Light, Medium, Medium Deep & Dark, and costs $40 at maccosmetics.com or at any Mac counter/Mac Pro stores.
