"There will always be a reason why you meet people. Either you need to change your life or you're the one that will change theirs."
Hey babies! How are you??
Today I have the last of my Mac reviews (for now...) and it's one of the most raved about products from Mac.... Pro Longwear Painterly Paint Pot..
For those of you unfamiliar with Mac's paint pots, they are cream bases that can be worn alone or under eyeshadows to make them stand out more, and can also be used in place of a primer - a drugstore version are Maybelline's Color Tattoos.
On Mac's site:
"A highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners."
These cost $20 and come in all different colors and finishes (cream, frost and pearl).
If you have discoloration or prominent veins on your lids, this is a great option for you because it will totally cancel out any of those imperfections.
I've been using this as my base and in replace of all other primers since I got it. I absolutely LOVE this and I'm thinking about picking up a few more shades. It has not creased at all for me, my shadows look so much more vibrant and they last all day; even better than any eyeshadow primer I've used.
I know for such a small jar, you'd think $20 is pricey but it's totally worth the money. This jar will last forever, even when using it daily and the quality is so perfect that it pays for itself within a few uses.
You can purchase Mac Cosmetics online, at Mac Pro stores or department store counters, such as Macy's & Nordstrom.
