"So don't be afraid to crumble, love. Have you even forgotten who you are? You walk around thinking you aren't beautiful; the truth could never have been more far."
Hello, dolls! As promised, the highly requested review of the Too Faced Melted lipsticks that I picked up in my Sephora & Ulta haul in April.
You squeeze the packaging, be very gentle and careful, it's easy to squeeze out too much! I haven't had any problems with this method so far and I like that you don't have to worry about bringing a brush with you. It's also small and rounded enough to get a crisp line of application.
The shades I picked up are:
"The shine of a gloss, lasting power of a stain, and pigment-packed color of a liquid lipstick, all in one high-impact formula. Bold, long-wearing color glides on cleanly with the precision tip applicator, delivering rich color with staying power."
These are paraben, sulfate and phthalates free.
The lasting power is pretty good, it definitely leaves a nice stain on the lips. If you want it to be as vibrant as when you first apply, I found I had to reapply every few hours but you can definitely go quite a while without really worrying about it.
One thing that I really love about these is the shine, it lasts much longer than I thought it would. And once the shine wears down, it's a nice matte.
These aren't very drying, I actually found them fairly moisturizing. The pigmentation is fantastic and I didn't have to wear a lipliner underneath. Absolutely no problem with feathering which was very impressive!
Overall, I've been enjoying these.. I can't say I have any complaints. The shades are beautiful (6 altogether, a red and nude included!) and any kind of stain that feels moisturizing is a winner in my book! :)
