Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows Review & Swatches:

"And still, after all this time, the Sun has never said to the Earth, "You owe me." Look what happens with a love like that. It lights up the sky."

Hello my loves! Last month I picked up three shades from the newly released & reformulated collection of Make Up For Ever's Artist Shadows. They are sold in pans for $21 each with palettes sold separately. There are one, two and three pan palettes sold for $1 each and when you buy one, you get a certain amount of money off.

I purchased three shades and a three pan eyeshadow palette and received $20 off so essentially, getting one eyeshadow for free. I absolutely love that they did this! It's a fantastic deal and great for those who don't have z-palettes.

IMG_3843The palette is nice and compact, it's plastic and feels sturdy. I've traveled with this and it has kept my shadows protected.

The shades from left to right are: M600 (Pink Brown), M738 (Auburn), and I544 (Pink Granite). MUFE shadows go by the number but on Sephora's site they have names so I like to include those as well. On the back of each pan is the shade number. (Side note: to get the pans out of the palette, there are tiny holes at the top to poke something through and it will lift the pan out a bit so you can pull it out... It took me a minute to realize haha)

There are 5 finishes - Matte, Satin, Metallic, Diamond and Iridescent. Each number is indicated with a letter before so you know which finish it is.

The first shade I picked up is M600:

IMG_3847Pink Brown is perfectly named, it's a matte brown with pink undertones.

IMG_4767Pigmentation is very nice, I love this shade for the crease, outer corners and to smoke out the lower lash-line.

IMG_4776One thing I can definitely say about the mattes, they are so true to how they look in pan! They are very soft and smooth, not powdery at all.

Next is M738:

IMG_3846Auburn... I absolutely LOVE this shade. Hands down my favorite out of the three, I've used this a ton throughout October.

IMG_4758It's a stunning matte red brown. Super, super pigmented, soft and smooth. Very long lasting, I've worn this for an entire workday and it looked the same at the end of the day.

IMG_4762Just.... Perfection! This shade in the crease?! To die for!

Lastly is I544:

IMG_3851Pink Granite is very unique shade to my collection, it's an iridescent shade. It's a taupey brown with pink undertones, it looks almost purple in some lighting. It's gorgeous!

IMG_4777The pigmentation is fantastic, this is just one swipe! It has a beautiful sheen and no chunky glitters.

IMG_4781Another totally true to pan!

I'm loving these shadows lately, the quality is fantastic. I completely think they are worth the price and I'm dying to pick up more! Every shade I want has been sold out in store and online so I'm just patiently (okay, not so patiently...) waiting to get my hands on them! The pigmentation and lasting power is phenomenal, I have no complaints at all on these!

MUFE products are sold at Sephora as well as online.
