Hello gorgeous! I have a Sephora haul for you guys today (and one item from Ulta).. I earned enough Swagbucks again for a $50 gift card and was super close to hitting VIB Rogue so I figured, why the hell not!
I'm not going to be doing swatches in this so if you want a review on any of these products, let me know in the comments below and I would love to!
When the Lorac Pro 2 first came out, I had no desire to get it... I have, and love, the first but I sort of wasn't in a palette-buying mood at the time this was released and just passed on it.. But I randomly started really wanting it so I grabbed this during a random Ulta trip.
The little kit they send you is super cute! You get a little booklet explaining the perks of being a VIB Rogue and also talks a bit about Bite Beauty and the mini-exclusive lipstick that comes with it.
If you aren't familiar with shopping online, always check Retail Me Not for coupon codes! Sephora always has fantastic ones and around the time I was on the site, they had literally at least 10 coupon codes to choose from!
Another paIette I really had no desire in getting when it first came out... The Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette! No clue why now, when I look at this because it is so ME! A neutral palette with little pops of color, I cannot wait to play with this!
The shade names are on a plastic slip in the palette, I wish they were printed on the packaging like the Semi-Sweet palette but that's okay. The top cover has a bit of a ledge so I just place the slip up where the mirror is and it never falls out while it's open.
The description on Sephora's site:
"A lip-toned perfector that defines, smooths, and covers.
What it does: These creamy, long-lasting colors perfectly match your lip tone for a scandalously sexy nude look. They feature a precision lip-defining tip and can be worn alone or under gloss or color to cover minor imperfections and bring out your most luscious lips."
I was intrigued by this and had heard mixed reviews so I really wanted to test this out and see what I thought of it.
I'm going to test this out more but so far? I'm enjoying it! I disagree with a lot of the negative comments I've heard so I may pick up another shade or two... After I make sure I love it :)
This shade used to be a beautiful mauve-rose pink type shade but it has recently been reformulated to a more... Grey-ish toned shade. It's so hard to describe and I'll have to wear it before I can totally speak on this but in the tube, it looks like a more wearable version of Lime Crime's Cashmere.
Anna is described as a smokey rose and I'd have to agree! It's probably one of the most talked about shades in the line and it is so stunning!
I've been eyeing this shade for months. I love the Melted formula and I absolutely love the deeper berry shades so I'm super excited to try this! It looks so beautiful!
