Hi.

Welcome to my blog. Here you will find product reviews and makeup looks! Hope you have a nice stay!

Sephora Haul April 2015:

"I'm not fascinated by people who smile all the time. What I find interesting is the way people look when they are lost in thought, when their face becomes angry or serious, when they bite their lip, the way they glance, the way they look down when they walk, when they are alone and smoking a cigarette, when they smirk, the way they half smile, the way they try and hold back tears, the way when their face says they want to say something but they can't, the way they look at someone they want or love... I love the way people look when they do these things. It's.... Beautiful."

- Clemence Poésy

Hey beauties! I have a little haul for you today.. I posted this on my social media so I'm sure many of you have seen it but for those of you who don't have any social media accounts/get updates via emails, maybe you'll also like seeing what I picked up. Also I've tried most of these products now so I can give some feedback!

It's nothing too exciting and considering Sephora's VIB sale will be next week... I'll probably have another one coming up soon... Don't judge me :)

Sephora Haul April 2015

Most of what I wanted was sold out so I didn't get much but I'm super excited about what I did get!

Smashbox Primer Water

We'll start with Smashbox first! This Primer Water has blown up in the beauty industry lately and is raved about like crazy so I was super curious and anxious to give it a try.

It's a water infused with electrolytes - you can spray this on before makeup to use as a moisturizing primer, as a setting spray at the end of your makeup application or throughout the day as a refresher for your makeup! It is silicone, alcohol and oil free.

This feels like you're just spritzing water on your face. It's very lightweight, dries quickly and smells amazing when initially sprayed. The scent isn't too strong and dissipates shortly after spraying. So far, I'm enjoying this but I have to test it out more to see if the claims are true! Let me know if you'd like a review.

Smashbox's Primer Water is $32. There is a 1 oz size on Sephora's Website for $16! I don't believe the smaller size is sold in stores.

Smashbox Step-by-Step Contour Stick Trio

The next highly hyped up Smashbox product! The Step-by-Step Contour Stick Trio. After seeing Tati from Glam Life Guru use these, I just had to have them... Anything she loves, I buy. I swear.

This kit is awesome for anyone, whether you're a beginner just starting off all the way up to makeup artists. You get a contour, bronzer and highlighter stick. As well as a sharpener and a little instruction guide to help you figure out your face shape and the best ways to contour for each!

Smashbox Contour Stick Trio 2This guide is super helpful, especially for beginners!

Smashbox Contour Stick Trio

The packaging is perfect. Simple and elegant and I absolutely love that the bottom shows which shade is what.

Smashbox Contour Stick Swatches

From left to right: the contour shade, bronzer and highlight.

All are insanely creamy and so blendable. They feel like butter. Better than butter. I couldn't believe how soft and smooth they felt! They apply like a dream and blend out with little effort. I love that the highlight has no shimmer to it!

I plan to do a highlighting and contouring routine so look for that soon!

Smashbox's Contour Stick Trio is $45.

GlamGlow Supermud Mask

I finally bit the bullet and decided to try a Glam Glow mask.... It hurts to see how much this costs. But I haven't heard a bad word yet and after my crazy allergic reaction, my skin has been so horrible.. I wanted to try something GOOD!

There are a few different masks (cleansers now as well) depending on your skin type/concerns. The one in the white packaging is the Supermud Clearing Treatment.

This mask is said to target, prevent and heal problem skin.

The claims:

"This formula was clinically developed by GLAMGLOW® dermatological chemists to help fight all common skin concerns including breakouts, discoloration, black and white heads, razor bumps, and in-grown hair. Powerful, skin-clearing mud visibly draws out dirt and congestion while a proprietary six-acid blend dramatically brightens and softens skin. It works to magnetically draw out dirt and pores with Activated-X Charcoal, leaving skin smooth and healthy-looking.

Based on consumer trials: After 1 day of use: - 94% felt their skin looked renewed - 91% saw an improvement in skin clarity - 94% felt it gently cleared their skin

On day 7 after using it 3 times in a week: - 98% felt their skin looked renewed - 97% saw an improvement in skin clarity - 97% felt it gently cleared their skin"

GlamGlow Mask

This is a clay mask but it feels super lightweight compared to any other clay mask I've tried. Apply to dry, clean skin and leave on until it dries. You can use this all over the face or as a spot treatment.

I plan to do a full review on this soon!

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treamtent is $69.

Peter Thomas Roth 500 Point Perk

Lastly, I used my points to try this Peter Thomas Roth 500 point perk!

This isn't exactly the best I've seen, with only three products.. The only reason I picked it up is because I absolutely love this brand and I haven't tried a product that I haven't loved.

You get the Anti-Aging Cleansing Gel, the Firm Peeling Gel Exfoliant and the Cucumber Gel Mask.

I've only tried the exfoliant so far and it's okay, I have to try it more but I've heard raves about the cucumber mask so I'm excited to use it!
